MJ was born in South Africa on January 13th, 1989. MJ quickly rose to the top of the amateur and then collegiate ranks before turning professional with high expectations in 2012. In May 2022, MJ’s strong play on the Korn Ferry Tour including 4 top 4 finishes and 7 top 25’s resulted in qualifying for his 2023 PGA TOUR card in just 13 events.
